- Mike Shere; right front - Sgt Guy, Platoon Sergeant, No 1 Platoon; rear
centre - Stan Berry, batman to Lt J D Harrison who is half hidden behind
the soldier Mike Shere. Amongst the presently surviving Chindits of my
Battalion is a Corporal who was the NCO i/c No 2 Section of No 1 Platoon
who ages ago confirmed the above.
